Gary Pope is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in backend payment systems and software development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineering Consultant at EPI Company since November 2023, Gary is involved in creating a unified pan-European payment solution that utilizes Instant Payments. Prior roles include Staff Software Engineer at Gorillas, where Gary led initiatives for a new payment processing system and promoted Apollo GraphQL Federation, and at Thrive Global, where the focus was on developing a scalable Apollo GraphQL solution. With previous experience as a Technical Lead at Walmart Global Tech and Lead Software Engineer at KeyedIn Solutions, Gary has a proven track record in leading development teams and projects across various platforms.
