Gene Genkin

Gene Genkin is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in business systems and ecommerce. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Global-e since July 2022, Gene previously held the position of Senior Engineer in Business Systems at Pitney Bowes since June 2015 and at Borderfree from June 2013 to June 2015. Earlier career highlights include a role as Senior Database Developer at MIG & Co. from May 2008 to May 2013 and as a DBA/Systems Developer at DeSola Group Inc. from September 1998 to May 2008. Gene's technical journey began with DBA roles at TSI (NYSC) and Travers Tools Co., Inc. in 2000 and 1997 respectively. Gene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electromechanical Engineering from The City University of New York and attended the Moscow Aviation Institute from 1990 to 1993.
