Joel Kenan

Joel Kenan is an experienced data engineer with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Principal Data Engineer at Global-e since July 2022, Joel specializes in various database technologies including MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, Pentaho, and Vertica. Prior to this role, Joel worked at Pitney Bowes as Principal DB Engineer, using similar technologies from December 2012 to September 2022. Joel's background also includes positions as Senior Oracle DBA at TD Bank, DBA at Graphnet, Senior Oracle DB at Merck, and Senior Oracle DBA at Oracle Corp’s consulting division. Joel holds a degree in Software Engineering from Hadassah Academic College, obtained between 1982 and 1985.
