Maor Sharon

Maor Sharon is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Global-e since May 2025. Previously, Maor held the position of Director of Engineering for Account Receivable at Payoneer from December 2020 to April 2025, where responsibilities included leading billing and payment services. Maor served as Chief Technology Officer for PAY at Pepper from February 2017 to December 2020 and managed backend development teams. Earlier roles included ESB Team Leader at Bank Leumi, where Maor built new development teams and worked with IBM integration technologies. Maor started a career in R&D with Matrix, leading open source projects and development teams for various clients. Maor holds a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering, completed in 2010.
