Ran Assis has extensive experience in software quality assurance and engineering, beginning in 2004 as a QA Tester at eWave, followed by a role at Leumi Card where QA testing skills were further developed. At Borderfree, from 2012 to 2020, Ran served as QA Tech Lead and contributed to numerous projects involving automation coding in Java and Groovy, development in AngularJS, and implementation of DevOps practices, alongside significant work in cloud services with AWS, Couchbase, RabbitMQ, and Redis. Currently, Ran holds the position of Software Engineer at Global-e, performing as Scrum Master and Automation Engineer, while leveraging Agile methodologies. Ran holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Netanya Academic College.
