Roy Eldar has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the field of technology and operations. Roy has served as the VP Technical Operations at Global-e since 2022. Before that, they worked at Kaltura as the VP BI and MIS, where they built and led a new BI department and strategically designed the business intelligence program. Roy also served as the VP Customer Care, MIS, and CISO at Kaltura, where they managed customer care, technical support, and services for over a thousand customers worldwide, reduced costs by building offshore teams, and developed customer service strategies for maximum customer satisfaction. Prior to Kaltura, Roy held the position of VP Customer Service and IT at SysAid Technologies Ltd., where they managed a team of professionals providing call center and technical support to global customers. Roy also served as the VP IT and Production Operations at Borderfree, where they managed the company's data centers and infrastructure and led a team of professionals. Earlier in their career, Roy worked as the CIO at Travel Holdings, where they managed data centers and infrastructure worldwide, and as an IT Manager, supporting users and servers across different locations. Roy began their career as an IT Manager at Meida Shivuki CI and as an IT Consultant and Network Engineer at Cardonet, UK, where they gained experience in diverse computing environments and large-scale organizations. Roy Eldar attended Brunel University London from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a BSc degree in Computer Science and Business. In 2003 and 2004, they pursued further education at John Bryce, earning a Diploma in Information Systems Analysis for Programmers. In January 2016, they also obtained the ITIL FOUNDATION certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
