Serguei Semikhatov

Serguei Semikhatov has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Serguei currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Global-e, where they oversee the Borderfree and Flow Commerce business units. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Pitney Bowes, where they were responsible for the Borderfree business unit and played a key role in developing efficient cross-border payment processing models. Before that, they held the position of Middle and Back Office Dev Manager at Susquehanna International Group, where they led the development of in-house position keeping software. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Head of Dublin Development at Sophis, Senior Software Engineer at AOL, and Software Engineer at Netscape Communications. Serguei also gained experience as a Mathematics Teacher at Moscow School 91 and as a Technical Support and Software Engineer at Demos and UNIS Labs respectively.

Serguei Semikhatov began their education in 1992 at Collège du Léman. Serguei then attended Moscow School 91 from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate with a focus on Mathematics. Continuing their academic journey, Serguei went on to pursue a Masters degree in Computer Science at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 1995 to 2000.
