Shay Saar is an experienced database administrator and technical leader with a strong background in managing and mentoring teams across various organizations. Currently serving as DBA Team Leader at Global-e since August 2023, Shay is responsible for overseeing data-related implementations and improvements from design to production. Prior experience includes leading the Cloud Dev group at Questar Auto Technologies, where Shay managed web and mobile application development, data pipelines, and third-party integrations. Throughout Shay's career, roles have encompassed personal growth mentorship for team members, comprehensive responsibility for revenue and billing systems at Perion Network, and significant contributions to application development and database management across multiple companies. Educationally equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and General Science from Tel Aviv University, Shay’s skill set spans a variety of technologies including SQL Server, Python, and AWS.
