Greg Thomson is an experienced offshore construction coordinator and general foreman currently employed at Torus BGP since June 2023. With a significant background in pipefitting and instrumentation, Greg has contributed to various projects, including drilling re-activation on the Beryl Alpha platform and upgrades on Apache assets in the North Sea. Prior roles include positions at Global Energy Group, where work included final tie-in spools for the Callater project and extensive pipefitting work scopes in the Forties and Beryl fields. Additional experience encompasses roles at Global E&C, AMEC, and WGPSN, involving shutdowns, pipe upgrades, and safety management during various projects such as BP’s Meor project and the Maersk Gryphon. Greg’s expertise includes operational collaboration for boundary isolations and compliance with safety procedures.
