Laura Nelson

Laura Nelson is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of HF.Capital, a company likened to Stripe for stock trading, since January 2019. In addition to this role, Laura serves as the Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Hackers/Founders, a global community of technology founders with significant reach, hosting over 5,000 events attended by more than 350,000 founders. Laura is also a member of the Santander X 100, reflecting involvement in a prestigious global entrepreneurship community, and participates with HF.Capital in the SME Finance Forum, focusing on increasing access to finance for small and medium enterprises. Furthermore, Laura contributes as a Board Member of the Global EIR since March 2015 and has a background with Microsoft where various initiatives were undertaken to support startup events and promote entrepreneurship through events and partnerships.
