Peter Tranitz is the Leader of IPC's Design Initiative at the Global Electronics Association, a position they have held since 2023. They were a Principal Expert and Head of Final Assembly & Test at Continental from 2004 to 2022 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universität Regensburg and the University of Cincinnati in 2003-2004 and 2002, respectively. Peter earned their Dr. rer. nat. from Technische Universität Chemnitz and completed their Diplom at Universität Regensburg, where they also engaged in further studies leading to their candidacy for a doctorate.
