Pascal Martinez

Pascal Martinez is the Forests and Wildlife Lead at the Global Environment Facility, where they have served since June 2015, initially as a Senior Climate Change Specialist and later transitioning to a Senior Environmental Specialist. With over 20 years of diverse experience in sustainable development, Pascal has worked with various organizations including FAO and ECLAC, focusing on forestry, biodiversity, and climate change. They previously held roles in French governmental agencies, contributing to policy implementation and international negotiations. Pascal earned master’s degrees in Forest Management and Ecosystem Studies from prestigious French institutions.
