Global Gate Facility (GGF) is a German–Congolese copper and cobalt company with mineral concessions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly in Lualaba and Haut-Katanga.

GGF operates at the intersection of European industrial demand, African production realities and the growing need for resilient critical raw material supply chains. Our objective is to help establish a durable European — including German SME and Mittelstand — presence in the Central African Copperbelt through local value creation, reliable in-country partnerships and transparent supply chains.

GGF combines the operational foundation of an emerging mining company with the ambition of a responsible critical raw materials platform. By assuming risk on the ground, developing local structures and linking commercial production with community-oriented development, we seek to demonstrate how critical raw material security, economic viability and local benefit can reinforce one another.

Through ESG-oriented initiatives with local communities and scalable public-private partnership models — including skills development, energy, education and traceability — GGF is building an approach in which profitability, transparency and local acceptance form the basis of long-term critical raw material partnerships between the DRC and Europe.
