Thomas Wang

Thomas Wang is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance and risk management sectors. Currently serving as CEO of GLOBAL GRUPPE since June 2024, Wang previously held the position of CEO North Asia at Gallagher from November 2021 to June 2024. Additionally, Wang is a lecturer at HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration, focusing on International Insurance Programs and Insurtech. Previous roles include Member of the Management Board at Funk and CEO/Managing Partner at Funk International Austria GmbH. An accomplished academic, Wang holds a Certificate in M&A from Columbia Business School and a Certificate from the LSE PKU Summer School in Beijing, along with a Diploma in Business Administration from WU Vienna. Wang also has a background in music, having earned a diploma with a major in piano from the Prof. Hans Nast Conservatory and Vienna School of Music.
