Director of Footage Sales at Global ImageWorks

Morgan Strong began their career in 1999 as a Production Intern at CBS News. In 2001, they became a Production Intern at Comcast, where they edited B-roll packages for live shows for the CN8 program "Real Life" and scheduled, screened and logged daily news feeds for use on air. In 2002, they interned at CNNfn, where they edited raw footage for on air segments in newsroom environment for various daily programs and assisted producers with package production including interviews and research. In 2004, they became the Creator/Producer of the weekly program "Sportsknight" at Rutgers University Television Station, where they developed the program from initial idea phase right through to weekly studio production and hired, trained and supervised a team of student producers, on-air talent and freelance staff. Finally, in 2005, they joined Global ImageWorks as the Director of Footage Sales, where they were familiar with all aspects of the licensing process and had a passion for creating and nurturing client relationships and supplying the best and most original content for licensees. Morgan also served as the Director of Creative Services, where they enhanced company offerings by developing a method to quickly digitize thousands of hours of stock footage, increasing web traffic and sales growth, created and maintained a workflow to deliver digital assets company-wide to increase productivity and client response time, and advised company executives on emerging technology and trends to increase market appeal. Additionally, they acted as a Production Assistant, where they responded to client footage requests and provided technical support to filmmakers and editors, and worked with corporate clients to develop and edit a traveling exhibit featuring video addressing the topic of mental health and wellness.

Morgan Strong attended Rutgers University from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies.
