Larry Cates

Larry Cates has over 35 years of experience in the corporate and military sectors. Larry began their career in 1982 as a Supply Officer, Captain in the US Marine Corps. In 1991, they joined The Shulman Group as VP of Finance. Larry then moved to The Ryland Group in 1992 as Corp. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis/Investor Relations. In 1997, they were appointed VP of Planning & Development at Ryland Homes. In 1999, they joined Global Learning Systems, Inc. as SVP of Corporate/Business Development. In 2003, they became President/CEO of both Global Learning Systems and KeyStone Learning Systems. At Global Learning Systems, they provided client-tailored security awareness training and risk management compliance solutions. At KeyStone Learning Systems, they provided blended and interactive online video-based curriculum in Microsoft IT and professional development skills.

Larry Cates attended the United States Naval Academy from 1978 to 1982, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Resources Management.
