Robert Thomson

Robert Thomson has extensive experience in subsea engineering, currently serving as the SPS subsea lead at Global Offshore Engineering since January 2019. Previously, Robert held senior subsea engineer roles at Oderbrecht Oil & Gas and Odebrecht Óleo e Gás, where responsibilities included supervising subsea operations, conducting team meetings, and providing expertise in blowout preventer systems. Robert began a career in subsea engineering with Venture Drilling, where initial roles progressed from assistant subsea engineer to senior subsea engineer. Educational background includes a Standard Grade degree from Nairn Academy.
