MISSION: to build relationships that will provide financial resources to rural communities in Latin America and meet needs for clean water, food, education, and improved health. We offer opportunities for North Americans to experience reality as it is experienced by people in the developing world. Our goal is to build compassion and solidarity.

Global Partners Running Waters, Inc. (GPRW) is a nonprofit organization, 501(c)(3), established to build relationships through collaboration on water, food, health & education projects in Latin America. Its roots lie in the mission experiences of Sister Jan Gregorcich (SSND), who lived and worked with the people of Guatemala & Honduras during a period of 12 years.

GPRW is building on Sister Jan’s mission work, by connecting friends in the US with those in Latin America. After initial relationships are established, working together on projects deepens a partnership. GPRW is a supported ministry of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, who are dedicated and passionate in their mission to serve the poor. Their mission greatly aligns with that of GPRW.

GPRW believes that building relationships with the people of Latin America can offer opportunities that:

-Share cultural and spiritual resources.
-Improve health and living conditions.
-Enhance international dialogue.
-Experience the best of humanity.

Since 2003, more than 50,000 people have received clean water- their lives forever transformed.
