Chris Bateman

Chris Bateman is an Information Security, Audit, and GRC professional with over 25 years of experience. Initially trained as a Cryptologic Technician by the US Navy, Chris worked as a Member of the Technical Staff at Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute for almost a decade. Chris has also served in various roles globally, focusing on National Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection, and compliance with HIPAA and FISMA. Currently, Chris manages a team responsible for supporting PCI DSS assessments and providing advisory services within the Global Payments family of companies.
