Fred Abell

Fred Abell is currently a WAF engineer at Global Payments, where they apply their expertise in web application security. Previously, they served as a Security Analyst at Alert Logic from 2013 to 2018, where they tuned WAF policies, monitored networks, and trained less experienced analysts. Fred also held the position of Network Security Officer at System Integration & Management from 2012 to 2013, supporting the Space and Naval Warfare Command. Between 2019 and 2022, they worked as a Security Center Ops Sr. Specialist at NTT DATA Services, focusing on problem identification within NASA's network. Fred is pursuing a BS in Mathematics at the University of Southern Mississippi.
