Matthew Marquard

Matthew Marquard is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design, structural analysis, and production support. Currently employed at Global Riser since February 2020, Matthew has contributed to projects involving launch and recovery skids, manufacturing drawings, and technical support for class approval. Previous roles include Junior Mechanical Engineer at Unique Group from March 2019 to February 2020 and a Junior Engineer during a vacation internship at Senior Flexonics, where Matthew gained hands-on experience in maintenance and machine operation. Earlier career training was also completed at Tank Industries, focusing on the assembly and installation of telecommunication cable closures. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, completed in 2018.
