Tom Ren

Tom Ren has a strong background in supplier management and sourcing solutions. Tom is the Chairman and CEO of LY Global, where they provide various disposable products and general sourcing and distribution services. Tom was also the Founder and Chairman of Global XLR, which developed tools and services for buyers and suppliers. Additionally, they served as an investor and VP of Sourcing Solution at RedRock Software. Prior to this, they were the VP of AECsoft Solutions, which was later acquired by SciQuest. Tom has extensive experience in the industry, having founded AECsoft USA, a company that specialized in supplier management systems and was ranked as the world's best Supplier Information Management System by Gartner Group before being acquired by SciQuest.

Tom Ren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Nanjing University in 1986. Tom then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Physics and Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston between 1989 and 1993. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1988, they attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Graduate School, specializing in Physics.
