Andy Everett

Andy Everett is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in broadcast journalism and production. Currently serving as the Managing Editor for Scotland & Wales at Global since May 2023, Andy has previously held several key positions within the same company, including Managing Editor for Scotland and Managing Editor - Heart, overseeing various Heart brand platforms from 2013 to 2022. Prior to this, positions included Executive Producer at Bauer Media Group – UK, Producer roles at multiple stations including Clyde 1 and Xfm Scotland, and a series of production and technical roles at various media organizations. Andy holds a BA in Media Theory and Production from the University of the West of Scotland and a BA in Film and Media Studies from the University of Stirling.
