Dave Chawner is an award-winning stand-up comedian, active in the field since March 2007, with performances featured on BBC, ITV, and Channel 4, as well as broadcasts on Radio 1, Radio 4, and BBC Radio 5 Live. Chawner has received multiple five-star reviews from various publications, including The Guardian and Cosmopolitan. In addition to comedy, Chawner has extensive experience as a broadcaster, currently serving as a broadcast journalist at Global and as the team captain of the weekly 'Fake News' show on Talk Radio, with a prior role presenting traffic & travel bulletins for various BBC and commercial stations. Previous positions include promotions manager at FIX RADIO LIMITED, breakfast presenter at Panda Radio, and multiple roles in account management and creative writing within the radio industry. Chawner holds a degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Southampton, earned between 2007 and 2010.
