Giles Tanner

Giles Tanner is a Regional Managing Editor at Glo, leading programming for Global's brands across Yorkshire, the North East, Scotland, and the Midlands since 2019. Previously, they worked at Bauer Media Group as a Journalist, Breakfast Show Producer, and Presenter from 2002 to 2006. They held various roles at Global, including Managing Editor and Programme Controller, from 2011 to the present. Additionally, Giles contributed as a Journalist and Producer at the BBC in 2007. They earned a 2:1 degree in English literature from Leeds Metropolitan University and a postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Leeds.
