James Daniels

James Daniels has extensive experience in radio broadcasting, currently serving as the Deputy Managing Editor and Senior Producer at Smooth Radio since January 2000. In this role, James produces the highly popular mid-morning show hosted by Kate Garraway. Prior to this, James held positions as Deputy Managing Editor for Heart, Capital, and Smooth in the West Midlands, as well as Programme Controller at RAM FM and Presenter at Trent FM for GWR Radio Group from March 1994 to December 1999. Earlier career experience includes presenting at RAM FM and serving as Station Manager at Radio Link-Derby Hospital Radio from April 1989 to February 1993. James received education at Anthony Gell School in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, from 1984 to 1992.
