Josh Bancroft

Josh Bancroft is a seasoned broadcast journalist with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as a Senior Broadcast Journalist at Global since May 2019, Bancroft works across major radio networks including Capital, Heart, and Smooth, while also contributing regional content for LBC. Prior to this role, Bancroft was with Wireless Group Ltd from October 2015 to May 2019, where significant reporting included coverage of the Manchester Arena attack. Earlier experience includes freelance positions at Bauer Media and UTV Media, as well as a stint as an Election Researcher and Assistant Producer with BBC News during the 2015 general election. Bancroft holds a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Lancashire and a Second Class Degree in Politics from Lancaster University.
