Katherine Smith

Katherine Smith is an experienced finance professional with a solid background in financial management and auditing. Currently serving as Finance Manager DAX at Global since January 2020, Katherine has held various roles within the company, including Finance Manager for National Commercial Sales, Business Partner for Group Reporting, Balance Sheet Manager, and Financial Accountant. Prior to joining Global, Katherine worked at EY from January 2016 to January 2020 as an Audit Senior and CA(SA) Trainee. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, and has successfully passed the ITC and APC exams on the first attempt as part of SAICA training. Education at Springfield Convent completed prior to university studies.
