Michael Steffensen

Michael Steffensen is the Head of Security for Denmark and Germany at GlobalConnect since May 2024. Prior to this role, extensive experience was gained at Nordea from January 2000 to May 2024 in various leadership positions related to security, IT governance, and strategy, including Head of the Security Office and Head of Information Security Governance, where responsibilities included managing the Nordea Information Security Management System and developing information security strategies. Michael also held roles that involved cloud computing architecture, IT strategy development, and project portfolio management. Educational qualifications include an International Executive MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Informatics, and Management Accounting from Copenhagen Business School, alongside technical education in computer science.
