Tom Herrmann

Tom Herrmann is currently a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) in CAD Engineering at Global TCAD, a position held since 2020. Previously, Tom served as an MTS in Technology and Integration at GlobalFoundries from 2015 to 2020. Tom's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Chemnitz University of Technology, completed in 2010, as well as a Dipl.-Ing. in Communications Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Dresden, earned in 2004. Earlier in their career, Tom worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden from 2004 to 2010.
