Walter Kocon

Walter Kocon is an experienced leader in the semiconductor industry, known for significant roles at GlobalFoundries and IBM. At GlobalFoundries, Walter served as Chief of Staff to the General Manager of the ASIC Division, where responsibilities included driving critical activities with senior executives to ensure timely product deliveries and enhancing business growth. As the Head of Heterogeneous Integration, Walter led teams focused on improving semiconductor performance. Prior to that, Walter held various positions at IBM, including Heterogeneous Integration Technology Architect and Senior Manufacturing Manager, overseeing substantial teams and managing over $6 billion in capital spending. Walter holds degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cornell University and Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
