Ben Tarbell

Ben Tarbell is currently a Board Member at GlobalGiving, and they have previously held positions at AiiM Partners, Powerhouse, Dandelion (Home Geothermal), and X, the moonshot factory. From June 2018 to February 2022, they were an Investor and Investment Advisory Committee Member at Powerhouse Ventures. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor at Dandelion from June 2017 to September 2018. Before that, they were the Foundry Team Lead at X, the moonshot factory from February 2016 to June 2018. Prior to that, they were Energy Principal at Google from April 2014 to February 2016. Before that, they served as Advisor and Product Lead at Mosaic from September 2013 to March 2014. Ben has also been a Board Member at GRID Alternatives from June 2012 to May 2018.

Ben Tarbell graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Ben then went on to Stanford University to earn their MS in Mechanical Engineering Design. Finally, they earned their MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
