Chase Williams

As the Senior Program Manager on the disaster response team, Chase leads GlobalGiving's extensive portfolio of disaster grant programs. He also manages the crisis response partnership with Facebook. He is grateful every day to have the privilege to learn from and support the ur nonprofit partners on the front lines of community-led disaster relief and recovery. Prior to GlobalGiving, Chase worked in Thailand and Colombia with local organizations in the fields of education and ecotourism. He is a Georgia native with an M.Sc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from Mercer University. Consistently uncertain at crosswalks, Chase is likely to be spotted meandering the streets of Washington D.C. trying to get his daily 10,000 steps.
