Alka Gupta

Alka Gupta is the Director at GlobaliD and has an extensive background in business development, strategy, and product management. Alka has held previous positions at Fin Capital, MoneyGram International, NBH Bank, Chestnut Street Ventures, Digital Frontiers, and globaliD Inc. From January 2010 to December 2015, Ms. Gupta was the Head of Strategy at eBay / PayPal where they led the development of strategy including moves in fulfillment, local delivery, expanded payment systems, large retail omni-channel with GSI Commerce and Magento, small business onboarding, and cross border transactions resulting in revenue growth of $9B in 2010 to $16B in 2013 and user growth rates > 40%. Ms. Gupta has also developed market strategies for key Asian (Japan, China, India) and selected Latin American markets (Brazil), including partnership and ecosystem strategies in country.

Alka Gupta graduated with a B.S. from Case Western Reserve University and then went on to get their MBA from The Wharton School.
