Sumit Sood

Sumit Sood is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and outsourcing sectors. From February 2015 to April 2023, Sumit served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Engineering at GlobalLogic, as well as Managing Director for the APAC and India regions. Prior to this, Sumit held various leadership roles at Virtusa from December 2000 to February 2015, including Senior Vice President of Outsourcing & Transformation Solutions and Vice President for the Middle East & APAC. Earlier career experience includes a position as Principal Architect at Seranova and Systems Analyst at Larsen & Toubro. Sumit holds a PGCBM in Finance, International Business, and Strategy from XLRI Jamshedpur and a B.E. in Computer Science from Punjab Engineering College.
