Christy Smith

Christy Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of multimedia and communications. Christy started their career as an Assistant Editor at A&E Television Networks in 1999. From there, they worked as a Multimedia Producer at iBeam Broadcasting until 2002. At TalkPoint, they served as a Manager of Field Production and later as a Project Manager, where they managed production staff, selected and managed third-party vendors, and organized project teams. In 2006, Christy joined TalkPoint Communications as an Account Manager, coordinating virtual events and developing relationships with clients. Christy later became the Director of Global Accounts, managing Fortune 500 accounts in the pharmaceutical and financial service sectors. In 2014, Christy joined PGi as a Director of Global Accounts, specializing in webcasts. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Global Accounts at GlobalMeet.

Christy Smith completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Television, and Theater (Communications), as well as a second major in French Literature, from the University of Notre Dame. Christy then pursued further education in digital marketing at New York University, earning a certificate in Continuing Professional Studies. Recently, they obtained a certificate in AR/VR Development from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, and they are also a Certified AR/VR Developer Level 1 from Lehman College.
