Sharon Long

Sharon Long has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Sharon is currently working as a Senior Director of Transformation and Corporate Programs & Planning at GlobalMeet. Prior to this, they held the same position at PGi from 2019 to 2023, where they also worked as a Senior Strategic Initiatives Program Manager, Senior Acquisition and Integration Program Manager, and Senior Customer Implementations Manager. Sharon has experience in project management, implementation of conferencing and messaging services, and developing PMO standard methodologies. Sharon also worked as a Senior Project Manager in IT and IT Consultant at PGi. Before their tenure at PGi, they worked as a Consultant and Senior Project Manager at Aspen Reflections, Inc. and ChannelPoint respectively. Their earlier work experience includes roles such as Manager of Applications Engineering at Current, Inc., and Manager of Client Relations and Service Delivery at Accenture. Throughout their career, Sharon has shown proficiency in managing projects, resources, and client relationships, and has successfully implemented process improvements.

Sharon Long obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior Management with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Houston in the years 1987-1989. Sharon also has additional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Agile Scrum Alliance in 2018, CM&AI (Certification in Merger & Acquisition Integration) from PRITCHETT, LP in 2017, ITIL v3 Foundations Certified from Qual-IT in 2013, Six Sigma Black Belt from Aveta Business Institute in 2008, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2006.
