Andreas Brix has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andreas started their career in 2008 as a Sales Specialist at IBM.com, where they focused on network and VoIP products and was responsible for managing the full sales cycle. In 2010, they joined Cisco Systems as a Virtual Partner Account Manager, where they conducted value-based sales of Cisco's Process Optimization Solutions and worked closely with sales ecosystem to maximize revenue.
In 2012, Andreas joined PTC as an ISS Account Manager CER, where they were responsible for service and license sales in the Central European Region, with a focus on promoting service solutions to the automotive market. After that, they worked at Cisco as a Cisco Security Partner Development Manager, where they developed the security partner portfolio acquired by the Sourcefire acquisition.
In 2015, Andreas joined andnexus - App Development & Mobile Computing as a Sales & Marketing Director. Then, in 2016, they joined GlobalSign as a Partner Account Manager for the DACH region, where they managed partners and clients in providing solutions related to GlobalSign's Service Provider portfolio.
In 2017, Andreas became an Enterprise Partner Account Manager at GlobalSign, specializing in PKI solutions. Since 2019, they have been working at GlobalSign as a Program Manager, focusing on creating and implementing strategic programs to define new Go-To-Market strategy and providing guidance to sales and technical teams.
Throughout their career, Andreas has acquired various certifications and demonstrated expertise in sales, partner management, and program management.
Andreas Brix attended the Commercial College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Commercial degree in Economics and IT. During the same period, they also attended the Staatliche Berufsschule II Bayreuth, earning a Commercial College Degree in Economics.
In terms of additional certifications, Andreas Brix obtained the following certifications: Sourcefire Certified System Engineer AMP v4.5 from Sourcefire in September 2014, Cisco Recognized Security Sales Representative (Cisco-RSSR) from Cisco in August 2014, and Sourcefire Certified Sales Representative v5.3 from Sourcefire in May 2014.
