Michael Hui

Michael Hui has a diverse work experience in various roles, including FQA Test Lead at GlobalStep since October 2022 and Senior Functionality Games Tester from August 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they worked as a Paint Artist from June 2020, creating landscape acrylic paintings and winning an art contest. Michael also gained experience as a Functional Quality Assurance Tester at Keywords Studios - Montréal from January to December 2020. As a self-employed freelance 3D artist, Michael created high-quality 3D models and textures for clients from April 2019 to January 2020. Additionally, they served as a Junior Team Lead at MIGS - Montreal International Game Summit in November 2019 and participated in various game jams as a Game Jam Artist from October 2018 to June 2019. Michael has also worked as a freelance 3D artist since 2012, collaborating with game studios and contributing to the release of several games. Michael had experience as a Food Product Demonstrator at Crossmark Canada Inc. in 2018 and as a Graphic Designer & Production Assistant at Beijing Maria's Gourmet Foods Company Ltd. from February 2017 to February 2018.

Michael Hui's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled in the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Michael pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a specialization in Game Development and Entrepreneurship, completing their studies in 2012.

In 2018, Michael attended Syn Studio: École d'art - Art School, where they participated in the Full-time Intensive Portfolio Prep Program. Michael received a Certificate upon completing the program in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Michael obtained certifications in Painting Foundations: Acrylic from LinkedIn in September 2020 and Advanced Adobe Photoshop from Seneca College - Part-time Studies in May 2011.
