Gavin Gao

Gavin (Xuexin) Gao is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing complex software solutions. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at GlobalVision since November 2021, Gavin has led the creation of a high-quality PDF comparison tool, addressing challenges in PDF parsing and user interface design. Prior to this role, Gavin worked at Circle Cardiovascular Imaging Inc. from January 2013 to November 2021, where Gavin (Xuexin) directed the development of a cloud-based medical imaging software for brain perfusion analysis, enhancing collaboration among healthcare providers. Gavin's academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calgary, along with a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, both from Beijing Institute of Technology.
