Jason Starr has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and responsibilities. Jason started their career as a Business Analyst at Globe Electric in February 2006 and later became a Senior Manager of Product Development in September 2009. From January 2012 to February 2014, they served as the Senior Manager of Product Management, where they were responsible for strategic planning, new product development, and managing a team. Jason then took on the role of Logistics Manager from February 2014 to August 2016, followed by Director of Operations from August 2016 to March 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations, starting in November 2021.
In addition to their roles at Globe Electric, Jason also has experience in the field of sports. Starting in May 2012, they joined McGill Athletics as the Head Coach of the Varsity Baseball team. Jason later became the General Manager of McGill Varsity Baseball in August 2018. As the Head Coach, they led the team to multiple CCBA National Championships from 2014 to 2017.
Jason Starr attended McGill University from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Marianopolis College, where they obtained a DEC in Pure and Applied Science. Additionally, in 2015, Jason obtained certification in Dale Carnegie Course Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie Training.
