Avery Banta

Avery Banta has over two decades of work experience, with a focus on human resources, change management, and organizational development. Avery started their career as a Management Trainee at Guthrie-Jensen Consultants in 1999 and later became a Consultant. In 2006, they joined DHL Express Philippines Corp. as the Training and Development Manager, ER Manager, and Staffing Manager. Avery then moved to Globe Telecom in 2009, where they worked in various roles including Core and Leadership Training Manager, Leadership and Talent Management Manager, HR Business Partner, and Director. Their most recent role at Globe Telecom was Vice President and Head of HRBP, Change Management & Org Development COE Team. In 2018, Avery also briefly worked as the HR Director/HRBP Integrator at Globe. Throughout their career, Avery has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent development, and change management.

Avery Banta, PMP, SAFe has a diverse education history. In 1995 to 1999, they attended the University of the Philippines, where they obtained a degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Communication Research. In 2007 to 2011, Avery pursued an MBA degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of De La Salle. Additionally, they received certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2011 and SAFe Agilist Certification from Pretty Agile. They have also pursued further certifications and programs, such as the Accelerated General Management Program from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, Strategy from Emeritus, and various advisory memberships and positions.
