Ray Vargas

Ray Vargas has extensive experience in research, engineering, and education. At the University of the Philippines, Ray worked as a Science Research Specialist and Graduate Research Staff, focusing on ZnO microstructures and nanostructures for solar cell applications. Ray served in various engineering roles at SunPower Corporation, including Senior Silicon Engineer and Senior Device Engineer, where responsibilities included cost analysis and data modeling for solar cells. Ray also spent time at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines as a Physics Instructor, teaching various physics and mathematics courses. More recently, Ray held positions at Globe Telecom and Globe Group, focusing on network analytics and technical support. Ray completed a Master of Science in Physics at the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
