Ashok Kumar

Ashok has been Chairman and Managing Director of The Indian Public Schools (TIPS) since 2006 and was the catalyst in bringing the first IB World School to Tamil Nadu and Kerala, offering the PYP of the IB Organisation. Working with Cambridge University from the beginning, Ashok has more than 14 years of experience of leadership in private education and he ensured that TIPS would become international centers for child assessment and evaluation. Having studied and worked in the US, for technology brands such as Microsoft, Intel Corporation and Xerox, Ashok´s vision for TIPS has been to embrace new technology and embed it into all learning.
