Aya Wael

Aya Wael is an accomplished professional in the field of linguistics and translation, currently serving as a Japanese-English medical interpreter with Future Group Translation Services since February 2024. Concurrently, Aya is a freelance manga translator for CCC International and a Japanese interpreter for GLOBO, along with previous experience as a Japanese-English interpreter at Voyce. Aya's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language and Literature from Ain Shams University, a Master's degree in Linguistics, and a PhD in Linguistics, all obtained with distinctions. Prior teaching roles include a visiting researcher position at Ochanomizu University and various lecturer roles within the Japanese language department at Ain Shams University.
