Globus Theatre is a professional rural theatre company located in beautiful Bobcaygeon, Ontario. We are dedicated to serving residents and visitors of the Kawartha Lakes by making high-quality Canadian theatre accessible to all. For over two decades, we have developed and produced new Canadian work rooted in rural life, presenting more than 30 Canadian premieres and 10 world premieres. Our mandate is to create engaging professional theatre that educates and entertains, reflects rural experiences and contemporary Canadian voices, and fosters the next generation of theatre lovers and arts professionals.

Once a working cattle barn, our space is now a comfortable and contemporary 150 seat theatre with an attached restaurant - providing patrons with the option to enjoy a dining experience prior to each show (reservations essential).

Now in its 23rd season, Globus Theatre offers an eclectic and thoroughly entertaining mix of shows in their season which runs from late May to December; including comedy, music, drama, murder mysteries, and an annual panto.
