Marcus Morissette

Marcus Morissette is an accomplished legal and privacy expert with extensive experience in the field. Currently, Marcus serves as the Head of Privacy at Gloo since June 2023 and has been an Advisory Board Member at Datagiene, Inc. since May 2019. Additionally, Marcus holds a long-term position as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Navy Reserve since January 2002, supporting the US Pacific Fleet. Previous roles include Chief Privacy & Cybersecurity Counsel at Argo Group (2020-2023) and Senior Privacy & Cybersecurity Advisor at Fenwick & West (2018-2020). Marcus co-founded and managed client development at Sentinel, LLC, and played a pivotal role in privacy leadership at eBay as Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy Counsel. Prior to entering corporate roles, Marcus owned a law practice specializing in litigation and data privacy. Academic credentials include a JD from the University of Idaho College of Law and a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.
