Trey Hicks

Trey Hicks is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and engineering management across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Coder at Gloo since November 2018, Trey founded Data Mesh Engineering and has been instrumental in implementing an event-driven mesh architecture for data products. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at Recurly, where Trey led multiple teams, improved Agile practices, and managed the software development lifecycle for key features. Trey also held senior engineering roles at sovrn Holdings, SportsLabs, Trada, GHX, and Hart InterCivic, demonstrating a strong track record of fostering talented teams and driving innovation through technology. Trey holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
