Enrique Conterno

Enrique Conterno is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Board Member for Zealand Pharma and Glooko, Enrique previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at FibroGen, Inc. from January 2020 to August 2023. Prior to this role, Enrique spent over 13 years at Eli Lilly and Company, where responsibilities included serving as President for Lilly Diabetes and Lilly USA, as well as Vice President for Health Care Professional Markets and U.S. Neuroscience. Enrique earned a degree from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business between 1990 and 1992.
