Thomas Ricouard

Co-Founder & Head of mobile engineering (acquired by Medium) at Glose

Thomas Ricouard has a diverse work experience in the field of iOS development. Thomas is currently working as a Staff iOS Engineer at Medium, starting from January 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded Glose and served as the Head of Mobile Engineering. At Glose, they built a cross-platform experience and developed and maintained multiple applications, resulting in over 700K downloads and a 4.5-star rating. Thomas co-founded Myseeen in 2012, where they worked as an iOS developer until December 2015, creating a social discovery app for movies. Thomas also worked at Wayz-Up as a Mobile Developer from June 2012 to May 2013, contributing to the development of a carpooling mobile application. In 2013, they briefly worked at Google as an iOS Engineer, specifically working on a prototype for Chrome for iOS. Earlier in their career, Thomas worked at Sage France as a Mobile Technologies Developer from September 2011 to June 2012, and as a Functional Manager for Community Web 2.0 from September 2009 to August 2011. Thomas co-founded RavenCo in 2011, where they served as a Lead Developer until May 2012, focusing on innovation in web browsers.

Thomas Ricouard earned a BTS degree in Informatique de gestion from ITIC between 2009 and 2011. Later on, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mobile & Web development at ECTEI from 2011 to 2012.
